Krzysztof Wasiewicz
is a fourth year student at the Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw. He is also a student of a diploma course at the Centre for the Study of English and European Union Law (the British Law Centre) organized in cooperation with Juris Angliae Scientia and the University of Cambridge. Former President of Mediation, Negotiation and Arbitration Students Association at University of Warsaw. Intern in leading Polish and international law firms. Last year he was a member of the team representing University of Warsaw in 24th Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. Moreover, previously Krzysztof scored first place in group ranking in the nationwide moot court competition for law students - UW Moot. He is interested in commercial law, politics and history. When he needs to relax and restore, Krzysztof goes fishing, edits movies or plays chess.
Michał Szczepański
is a fourth-year student of law at the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw and a second-year student of a diploma course at the Centre for the Study of English and European Union Law (the British Law Centre). He also studied at Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington on a scholarship funded by Indiana University. Michał’s academic interests include mainly the European Union law and Polish procedural law. He participated in academic conferences where he gave lectures about the EU law related topics. He has also been awarded the Dean’s Scholarship for the best students. Michał practices in the department of litigation, arbitration and mediation of one of the biggest Polish law firms. Personally, he loves travelling. He spent a month in Israel volunteering for one of the NGOs.
Mateusz Fraszka
holds a law degree from the Faculty of Law and Administration and graduated this June with defending his master thesis on public policy clause in the postarbitration litigation. He also graduated from Centre for American Law Studies and finished course on international commercial litigation at LSE. His professional experience includes working at the State Treasury Solicitors’ Office at the Department of Arbitration. Mateusz’s legal interests focus chiefly on commercial/investment arbitration and evinced in achieving 2nd place in ELSA Commercial Moot Court. He also represented University of Warsaw at 24th Willem C. Vis Moot. In his spare time, Mateusz finds pleasure in travelling and snowboarding.
Agata Kruczyk
is on her fifth year of legal studies at the University of Warsaw. She is a gradute of the LLB programme at the University of London. In 2016 Agata was a member of the University of Warsaw team at the FDI Moot Court in Buenos Aires. The team ranked 6th in the competition and Agata was awarded 2nd Best Advocate. She also represented the University of Warsaw at the XXIV Vis Moot competition. Her hitherto professional experience includes work at Polish and international companies and law firms. She has been awarded scholarships from the Leslaw Paga Foundation, Deutsche Akademischer Austauschdienst and the Rector’s Scholarship for Best Students. Agata’s academic interests evolve around European healthcare regulations, which has been the topic of her dissertation at the University of London and to which she plans to devote her master’s thesis. Agata speaks fluent English and Czech, is advanced in German and is learning French. In her free time she enjoys to travel and ski.
Maja Pyrzyna
is a forth-year student of law at Faculty of Law and Administration at University of Warsaw, she also studied at University of Fribourg as a part of Erasmus scholarship. She is a trainee at Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights, where she’s in charge of initial analysis of the cases submitted to the Foundation. Professionally interested in public international law and environmental protection law, in her free time Maja enjoys travels, literature, photography and yoga.
